Best Brand of Race Glass? |
|
Was just wondering if you had a preference for what brand of Race Glass?
Ive had a look around and there are quite a few to choose from. Which makes me wanna do the research before i buy.
I want them to look great, fit up nicely, basically i want good quality, not cheap crap.
So if we were using car analagies, only cos im a car nut and thats how i roll
BMW/Mercedes Benz/Porsche is Race Glass Brand >___<
Ford/Holden/and chev badged commodores is race glass brand >____<
Daewoo/Hyundai/Kia/corvette is race glass brand >____<
You may even get a sale out of me mate
Also, if anyone else reading this has an opinion, please feel free to let me know whats what...
cheers all

BMW/Mercedes Benz/Porsche is Race Glass Brand >RACE GLASS, RACERS EDGE, ZAKS< all around the $1200 mark
Ford/Holden/and chev badged commodores is race glass brand >HOT BODIES,TURN ONE, WET4U< FROM $800 TO $1000
Daewoo/Hyundai/Kia/corvette is race glass brand >SOME GUY IN SUNSHINE $650, SOME GUY IN CRANBOURNE $ 700, OR DA BAY <
I' ve use all three qualitiy types and i will never ever go back to that guy in sunshine , if money was no option Race Glass 1st Racers edge 2nd but the hot bodies might be a good buy....

Daniel mine are racers edge and as you have seen, not the best fit...and considering that since that they are carbon fibre someone would have paid a pretty penny for them i would have expected better.But i have never had any other race fairings so compare to others migth be great;

Yours are racers edge??? your kidding me>>??
when i saw that they stuck out really far at the belly pan, and you came in swearing cos you scraped them on the track one session, i coulda sworn that those fairings were not good quality, or mabe they are not the right ones for your bike? cos scraping fairings mid corner just cant be right, especially as your lean angle isnt super low at this early stage of your track riding....
we thought mabe the guy you bought the bike off might of been telling you porky pies about some things on your bike...
are they clearly marked "Racers Edge"?

they are as clearly marked as it can be.the guy that sold it to me never missrepresented anything to me to be fair to him,he even showed me photos from the crash so I d know exactly what I was getting. Not all the pieces have the logo in them so it might be a mix a match job;all I know is that fiberglass sticks on it pretty good which is going to be pretty handy after recent events..LOL!!!
