Good work Mick! Top effort for managing a track day while away for work too!

Thanks Shane.
I really went down for the track day and used the excuse of work to justify it qith the misses.
I have sold the Aprilia and bought a CBR600rr. Such a nice bike. I got to teach myself to rev the guts out of it.
I'm going to do some club racing this year at Morgan Park. They have a beginners class so that should be fun. Hoping that it improves me like it has you.
Have you been out to the track of late?

That sounds awesome mate! I did the hartwell season but didn't manage any extra track days until a few weeks ago. Got a 1.02.7 though so pretty happy!

And racing did really help me to push a lot further than I would have if I just kept doing track days. Good luck with it, you'll have an awesome time.

1.02.7..... Wow. That's really cooking. You got to be over the moon with that.

New PB on the old R6. 1.03.4 Optimal 1.03.2
Disappointed I could not quite dip into the 2s as that was my goal for the weekend.. Though Im quite confident that with more appropriate gearing (maybe an extra 2 on the rear) I would have done it and with my CBR600rr I sure I would have done it.

Next time you'll get it for sure Mick! I'll hopefully be spending some time at Broadford over summer so hopefully can catch up there then.

Thanks Shane. Wont be able to make it down from QLD for a while now.
I think next time I would like to try to get down for Round 1 of the Vic championships with my Honda which I think is in April?
My own familiar bike, some competition and some good weather will definitely see me make a good improvement and should see me well into the 62s. That has been a dream time for me for the last 12 months now. I can almost taste it :)
Have you been racing lately or riding at least?
